The Tearoom is now open from 11am to 4pm daily, and although the public bar itself is closed the Hotel is serving drinks on the lawns.
So if you are looking a cold glass of local beer, a good glass of wine or a G&T ring the bell to the left of the hotel door, and someone will be out to serve you.
The Hotel is also now open for both lunch and dinner to non residents but advance booking is required. Ring the office on 017684 86514 to make your reservation.
We look forward to seeing you at Howtown!
Our latest diary entry covering the early months of Lockdown is available to read on our diary page.
Howtown tearoom is situated adjacent to the Hotel, and offers a separate facility for walkers and visitors to enjoy a range of delicious home-made scones, cakes, light lunches and coffees throughout the day.
All the work was carried out by local craftsmen and the atmosphere of the tearoom is unrivalled.
So bring your bikes, bring your dogs and bring your boots. If you're arriving by boat, foot or road the tearoom offers a welcome respite where you can meet old friends and make new.
Sample some of the fabulous dishes on offer and even get a pint from the adjacent walkers bar if beer is what you fancy.
Sit inside or out, depending on the weather and relax!
