Howtown Hotel Exclusive use weekends
Howtown Hotel is a creeper clad stone and slate roofed house which stands close to the shore of Ullswater in the hamlet of Howtown, amidst magnificent and unspoiled Lake District mountains with stunning views across Ullswater.
We welcome group bookings of up to 14 guests to take advantage of the exclusive use of the whole Hotel, enabling all to enjoy the complete Howtown Hotel experience.
The weekends are fully catered for by our own chef Colin Akrigg, so parties of guests can create special memories of their weekend together, whilst continuing to enjoy the warmth, comfort and high standards for which Howtown is unrivalled.
Menus discussed in advance are created by Colin in the Howtown kitchen and served by our experienced staff in the Dining Room, the Hotel bar is open for exclusive use with a fully stocked wine cellar, and the hotel becomes a 'home from home' for the weekend.

We very much appreciate that this does not suit all our guests and are sorry we are no longer take individual bookings.
Howtown Tearoom is open 7 days a week from 10.30am from March to November. The tearoom serves a range of delicious home-made scones, cakes, light lunches including home-made bread and soup throughout the day. Well behaved dogs are welcome.
